Privacy Policy
This site, iamjessewood.com, is operated by Jesse Wood, a sole proprietor in British Columbia, Canada. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean Jesse Wood. This policy explains what personal information I collect through this site, why I collect it, who handles it, and what choices you have.
## 1. Who to contact
I am responsible for personal information collected through this site. For any privacy question or request, email hello@iamjessewood.com.
## 2. Information I collect
**Contact form.** If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and the message you write. Submissions are stored in my Webflow account and forwarded to my email inbox.
**Email.** If you email hello@iamjessewood.com, the message is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to my inbox. I keep the sender's address and the content of the message.
**Site usage.** I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It reports aggregated information such as pages viewed, referring website, country, browser and device type, and page performance. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage or similar identifiers on your device, and does not track you across sessions or across other websites.
**Technical data.** Webflow, which hosts this site, and Cloudflare, which provides DNS and analytics, process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
**Client materials.** If we work together, I collect the information and files you send me for the project, such as brand assets and project briefs. I use them only to do the agreed work.
I do not sell personal information. I do not run advertising on this site, and I do not build profiles of visitors.
## 3. Cookies and similar technologies
Cloudflare Web Analytics, the analytics tool on this site, does not use cookies. Other services involved in running the site may set cookies or access your browser:
- **Google reCAPTCHA** protects the contact form from spam. It may set cookies and collect information about your device and how you interact with the page, as described in Google's privacy policy.
- **Google Fonts** may be loaded from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
- **Webflow** may use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for site functionality.
- Booking links open a page run by Cal.com, which handles your name, email, and booking details under its own privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, though the contact form may not pass spam protection if reCAPTCHA is blocked.
## 4. How I use personal information

## 5. Business outreach
I sometimes contact businesses about my services by email or LinkedIn message. For this, I use publicly available business contact information, such as a business email address or LinkedIn profile. Every outreach email identifies me and includes a way to opt out. If you ask me to stop, I stop and keep your address on a do-not-contact list so I do not contact you again.
## 6. Who I share information with
I share information only with service providers needed to run this site and my business:
- **Webflow** for hosting and contact form storage
- **Cloudflare** for DNS, email routing, and web analytics
- **Google** for reCAPTCHA, fonts, and my email inbox
- Any other tools I use to deliver client work, under confidentiality terms where applicable
I may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect my legal rights.
## 7. Where information is processed
These providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries.
## 8. How long I keep information
- Contact form messages and emails: up to [24 months] after our last correspondence, unless we start working together
- Client project records: for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet tax and legal requirements
- Do-not-contact requests: kept so that I can honour them
- Analytics data: held by Cloudflare under its own retention practices, in aggregated form
## 9. Security
I use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including two-step verification on the accounts that hold it. No online service is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 10. Your choices and rights
You can ask me to:
- Tell you what personal information I hold about you
- Correct wrong information
- Delete your information or stop using it
- Withdraw your consent to contact you

## 11. Children
This site is for business use and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
## 12. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how I handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
## 13. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy as the site or my services change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
